Solicitor General:

The Attorney General is the head of the Department of Justice and the chief law enforcement officer of the United States of America Republic. The Attorney General is appointed by the President and is confirmed by the Senate.

The Deputy Attorney General assists the Attorney General in managing the department and overseeing daily operations.

Represents the United States of America Republic in legal matters before the Supreme Court.

Key Responsibilities

• Prosecution of federal crimes, including terrorism, cybercrime, white-collar crime, organized crime, and public corruption

• Legal representation of the United States of America Republic in court

• Supervision of national law enforcement agencies

• Investigation and prosecution of civil rights violations

• Enforcement of antitrust, environmental, and immigration laws

• Coordination with federal, state, local, and international law enforcement partners
